Philosopher
You as wise as Socrates
With blazing eyes, a sharp tongue
And a voice that resonates compassion
Your authenticity is absolute it is the truth
Your desires have touched the inside of my soul
You have talked the talk my friend
Apart of God’s audience we have became
A changed people we should be
That stance I can’t take
A price I’m willing to pay
For sins for mistakes
For a heart smeared by the devils wand
Can I discover my conscience Mr. Socrates?
Can is bask in my unique self?
Can I embrace the desires of my youthful bliss?
If so don’t stifle my love
For this child too have walked the stairways of heaven
