Tongue Scratched

The first sign was some soreness,

Supposedly the headaches before too,

But are always aches and pains somewhere,

Then there was an ulcerated tongue,

Talcy and ghostly white,

Rinsed soothed but not away,

The stomach, loose bowels,

Burning anus from the gastric juices,

Then the thoughts of what it might be,

Symptoms of the unknown…
