Circumcize Your Heart

“A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.  No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.” Romans 2:28,29

Have you become stuck in the routine of works you believe to keep your covenant safe? Has the traditional of your life flavoured your relationship with the Spirit? 

“In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.” Collosians 2:11,12

Do not be a stiff necked person, your firmness in Christ is of the Spirit and your faith is your only help in its construction. Let your heart be stripped of its fore life that lingered about its head, for the new head in control need no covering. Let you body be freely moved by God and trust you will never be led astray. 

“Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.” (Proverbs 29:1)
