It felt like an eternity,

Like I was never warm,

Nights alone are the worst,

But I knew this would be,

There must be times,

Times a missing,

Twisting and turning,

Reasons conflicting,

Who do we think we are,

Have we made up minds,

Mine fields await,

Are we hurting?

Calm my aching soul,

I know everything is well,

I’m sure, as times before,

I’ve learn to be wrong,
