Those lips that said they loved me…
Now all they say is hi…
Just the passing by Hi
Not the honey I didn’t see you there Hi
And she laughs and says Howdy do
Now you know she forgot you
And how you hated such questions
Or maybe she didn’t save anything
Time emptied those accounts

At least she tries,
This tell my self to go on,
I’m just a limb of her tree that sways,
I’ll be here by her, where I’ll always belong
