Glorify your creator with every part of your being. Turn to the heavens with praises, knowing He will be closer soon for you, thank Him for every blessing.
@thefallenpo.et How true it was when Seneca said this🪽Quote reflection. “How can you love yourself when you don’t even know which version of you is real?” Everyone says you’re supposed to know yourself, but what if the self keeps shifting? One version for family, another for friends, another for work, another for strangers. You get so used to adjusting that adaptation starts to feel like identity. And when you’re finally alone, there’s this strange silence, like you’re waiting for cues that never come. You try to answer the question “Who am I?” but all you can list are roles, reactions, masks shaped by other people’s expectations. Somewhere along the way, performing became surviving. Being liked became safer than being known. So you start seeing yourself through other people’s eyes, defining your worth by their responses. And that’s the quiet crisis, not hating yourself, but not being sure who that “self” even is when no one is watching. 📕 I wrote a book Between Heaven & Earth for those who feel disconnected from themselves, who have lived through roles, expectations, and emotional shapeshifting, and are trying to find something real underneath it all. It’s about identity, emotional depth, and learning how to come home to yourself. Available on amazon or the link in bio #poetry #selfidentity #emotionaldepth #healing #selfreflection
